Operations Specialist

This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the accurate and efficient processing of data related to spare parts
• Handling the physical aspect of operations, which includes retrieving the actual parts and transporting them to the workshop
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data entry tasks
• Monitoring and managing customer accounts, taking appropriate actions as needed
• Resolving customer inquiries and providing appropriate solutions
• Maintaining an organized and efficient workflow within the parts department
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations within the department
• Adhering to safety standards and protocols within the workplace
• Continually updating skills and knowledge pertinent to the job function
• Assisting in other tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the department. • Minimum of two years in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in data entry - numeric and typing data entry
• Familiarity with managing spare parts inventory
• Possession of a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
