Accounts Payable Specialist

job summary: Accounts Payable Specialist - $50,000 to $65,000

Great opportunity to work with a reputable client of ours as an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role will work closely with the new Controller of the company, who we just placed!

This is a fully in-office role. You may WFH as needed, but are expected to be in the office 5 days a week.

experience: 5 Years

As the AP Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Processing AP Invoices and ensuring timely payments to vendors
• Manage AP Sales Tax
• Assist with month-end close related to AP. This can include recons and accruals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and preserve confidentiality of clients
• Ad Hoc projects as needed.

Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of solid AP experience. Bachelor's Degree is preferred but NOT required. Experience with JD Edwards is preferred, but not required.
