Your Work Schedule
Monday: 7:30am-5pm
Tuesday: 7:30am-5pm
Wednesday: 7:30am-5pm
Thursday: 7:30am-5pm
Friday: 8:00am-3pm
Your Role as a Hygiene Assistant
As a Hygiene Assistant, you’ll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You’ll prepare patients for treatment, assist the hygienist/dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance to the dental hygienist to prepare the room, seat patients, and take proper documentation of the patients visit
- Ability to record and review patients’ health history, make chart entries under the direction of the Doctor or hygienist, and assures completion of all necessary forms and signatures needed
- Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills such as establishing positive relationships with our team and patients
- Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach
- Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
- 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
