Family Law Attorney

An expanding law firm located in Lake Forest is actively seeking a compassionate and determined Family Law Attorney to be a part of their robust team. This position is suitable for those wanting to leave a tangible influence and assist clients in navigating challenging legal situations.

Responsibilities:

• Standing for clients in courts or before government bodies, bringing forward evidence for defense or prosecution in civil litigation.
• Crafting legal records including briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and other legal correspondence.
• Undertaking comprehensive research into case laws and legal issues germane to family law.
• Guiding clients regarding their legal rights, duties, and strategies for navigating complicated family matters.
• Partaking in negotiation and mediation to settle legal disputes related to family law.
• Cultivating relationships with clients to foster trust and enable effective communication.
• Remaining updated with alterations in family law and advising clients accordingly.

Key Qualifications:

• Possession of a J.D. degree from a recognized law school.
• Maintain in good standing with the IL State Bar.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in family law.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks at once efficiently.
• Solid record of maintaining highest confidentiality.
