One of our clients is looking for a skilled Staff Accountant for a short term project.

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential discrepancies in customer account balances.
• Reconcile balances on customer accounts meticulously.
• Utilize Excel to determine previous balances, requiring some investigative work to find the correct documentation.
• Apply skills in Accounts Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries.
• Conduct research on billing inquiries and billing history using Excel.
• Maintain general ledgers in Excel for each client.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online for various accounting tasks.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintain precise customer credit records.
• Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required
• Applicant must have knowledge of General Ledger management
• Ability to manage Journal Entries is a key requirement
• Experience with Month End Close processes is essential
• Billing Collection skills are required
• Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online is a must
• Capability to handle Account Balances is important
• Experience in Account Reconciliation is necessary.
