Information Security Program Manager | Systems Software Support | Days | Full-Time

Responsible for the management of enterprise information security risk, governance, compliance, audit, and disaster planning programs for UF Health. Activities include the administration of a technical risk management program, documenting accepted risks, and leading reassessment procedures; development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures; documentation of the downtime and recovery procedures; and ensuring compliance standards are maintained.The manager is also responsible for acting as a departmental liaison to ensure business continuity through planning, drill exercises, and redundancy testing. The manager will work closely with information security leadership in determining risk, mitigation strategies, planning, and execution of controls.
The manager will ensure the department's effectiveness by setting goals and objectives, staff development, coaching and feedback, and setting and measuring departmental metrics.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and five years of professional information technology experience, with three years of that experience in an information security role
- Work experience in an information security or information technology role may replace education requirements on a year-for-year basis.
- Master's degree in a related field is preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Industry recognized certification is preferred from organizations such as, but not limited to GAIC, SANS, ISC2, ISACA, EC-Council
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver' NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
