Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a CHRO Intern, working directly with the Founder of Voice Up Publishing Inc. This role focuses on developing and implementing wellness-centered HR strategies that will support our organization's growth from startup to scale-up, while maintaining our commitment to staff wellbeing and organizational health.

  • Research and propose wellness programs suitable for remote teams
  • Help coordinate virtual team-building activities
  • Develop resources for mental health support and stress management
  • Create systems for regular wellness check-ins
  • Mentorship Program Management
  • Help design mentorship pairing systems
  • Develop mentorship guidelines and best practices
  • Create feedback mechanisms for program improvement
  • Plan for program scalability
  • Organizational Development
  • Assist in creating career development pathways
  • Help develop performance evaluation frameworks
  • Support the creation of training and development programs
  • Plan for cultural sustainability during rapid growth
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in HR, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Strong interest in workplace wellness and organizational psychology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with or strong interest in remote team dynamics
  • Understanding of startup environments and scaling challenges
  • Empathetic approach to problem-solving
  • Previous experience in peer counseling or mentoring is a plus
