Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a CHRO Intern, working directly with the Founder of Voice Up Publishing Inc. This role focuses on developing and implementing wellness-centered HR strategies that will support our organization's growth from startup to scale-up, while maintaining our commitment to staff wellbeing and organizational health.

- Wellness Program Management
- Design and implement staff wellness initiatives

- Develop mental health and work-life balance support systems
- Mentorship Program Development
- Help design and implement mentorship structures for new hires and interns
- Create documentation for onboarding and professional development programs
- Learn to scale support systems as the organization grows
- Assist in developing a 3-year staffing growth plan
- Help forecast hiring needs across departments
- Plan for organizational structure evolution
- Develop recruitment and retention strategies
- Support Wellness Initiatives
- Research and propose wellness programs suitable for remote teams
- Help coordinate virtual team-building activities
- Develop resources for mental health support and stress management
- Create systems for regular wellness check-ins
- Mentorship Program Management
- Help design mentorship pairing systems
- Develop mentorship guidelines and best practices
- Create feedback mechanisms for program improvement
- Plan for program scalability
- Organizational Development
- Assist in creating career development pathways
- Help develop performance evaluation frameworks
- Support the creation of training and development programs
- Plan for cultural sustainability during rapid growth
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in HR, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field
- Strong interest in workplace wellness and organizational psychology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with or strong interest in remote team dynamics
- Understanding of startup environments and scaling challenges
- Empathetic approach to problem-solving
- Previous experience in peer counseling or mentoring is a plus
- 100% Remote position
