ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The Regional Operations Manager plays a vital role in the region and will work closely with the financial and operations teams to meet goals and targets, ensuring we provide industry-leading customer service.

They will guide staff in the region, setting performance objectives, evaluating and optimizing operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld, and preparing operational reports. They are responsible for streamlining processes, improving productivity, and driving overall growth

This role requires them to develop and implement strategic plans, manage budgets, and ensure that all locations under their supervision adhere to company policies and standards.
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple locations within the region, ensuring all sites meet the company’s standards for quality, service, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement regional strategies in alignment with the company’s overall business goals, focusing on growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Manage and support the regional management team, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Analyze financial reports for the region, including profit and loss statements, to identify trends, forecast future performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the human resources department to oversee staffing levels, participate in the hiring process, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Facilitate communication between the regional offices and the corporate headquarters, acting as the primary point of contact for inter-departmental projects and initiatives.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations across all regional locations to ensure a safe working environment for employees and compliance with legal standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-10 years’ experience in the coating, adhesive, liquid form industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion.
  • Record of successfully collaborating with and influencing senior management and peers
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff.
  • Able to manage, coach and motivate people, specifically mentoring and coaching individuals to meet goals while promoting a friendly, safe and respectful atmosphere.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively between all organizational levels and with outside providers and contractors.
  • Confident, positive, and trustworthy with the highest degree of integrity.
  • Valid driver’s license and willing to travel between facilities.
  • Travel up to 25% of time, mostly regional.
