Senior Bridge Project Engineer

At Tetra Tech we are currently accepting applications for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Transportation team in Farmington Hills, MI on a full-time basis. You will be involved with bridge design, analysis and inspection projects and will work with our team of recognized industry experts.
- Design bridges and culverts
- Preparing project construction quantity calculations and cost estimates
- Plan production including 3D Modeling and CADD
- Load rate analysis of bridges
- Site visits to support the design process
- Preparing structural evaluation studies and similar reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering (structural focus)
- 6-15 years of experience in bridge design and inspection
- Certified Professional Engineer
- Additional experience in roadway engineering design, a plus
- Qualifications and experience as a Bridge Inspection Team Leader
- Experience with applicable computer software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, LEAP Bridge, AASHTOWare BR, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven success in delivering high quality projects
- Must possess a valid driver license, with a favorable driver’s record and maintain
