Department Overview:

The OHSU Division of Hospital Medicine's mission is to serve, connect, and educate in order to heal, comfort, and empower, and we are seeking others who share these values to join our team.

Function/Duties of Position:

Clinical duties will primarily consist of operating as part of an inpatient medicine care team, and includes admitting, managing, and discharging patients, performing medical consultation, and engaging in co- management with other specialties.
This position includes a mix of mostly day shifts with some swing admitting shifts, night shifts and back-up shifts. There may be opportunities to engage in teaching with medical students, PA students and residents. In addition to a broad range of clinical duties, you will participate in relevant quality review and process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD/DO degree (or equivalent)
  • Board certification or board eligibility
  • Demonstrated commitment to educational excellence in clinical setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced training in medical education is highly desirable
