Credit and Collections Associate

Overview:

Coordinate and organize collection activities for the supply side.

Responsibilities:

• Communication with customers through voice or electronic correspondence to determine reasons for overdue payments and payment status.
• Record information about the financial status of customers and status of collections.
• Receive payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Communicate with given sales force on credit status, problem resolving and payment strategy of customer accounts, including monthly A/R reviews with sales.
• Communicate with Credit Manager weekly or daily of delinquent accounts and issues that need assistance in resolving.
• Work effectively and professionally with the entire Singer team.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities:

• College degree or comparable experience
• 3-5 years of collections/credit/accounting/account reconciliation experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Good verbal and written communications skills
