This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with our FP& A team, gaining exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely account reconciliations, ensuring alignment with company policies and standards.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Reconcile cash accounts to ensure proper recording of all transactions.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and answering queries.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with the FP& A team on budgeting and forecasting efforts to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial goals.

Staff Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the energy or midstream sector.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
