Description:
Five Rivers Analytics LLC is currently seeking a Satellite Operator/Controller at the Vandenberg Remote Tracking Station (VTS).The Trainee will execute actions necessary to conduct satellite operations and maintenance required to sustain the operability of communications-electronics equipment located at the Remote Tracking Stations (RTS).
Responsibilities:
- Configures, operates and maintains assigned systems during satellite support, test, and maintenance activities.
- Initiates, directs and verifies completion of all operational events during the acquisition, tracking and commanding functions of each operational support.
- Maintains cognizance of station equipment status.
- Repairs and aligns all equipment in accordance with TOs/TMs or commercial manuals.
- Ensures Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) activities are accomplished as scheduled.
- Maintains vehicle folders.
- Prepare daily activity log entries.
- Performs all required systems administration on mission related equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must possess an active Secret clearance, or higher.
- Associate's degree in Electronics, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Must possess strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be familiar with the use of and be able to operate electronic test equipment to include multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, signal generators, power meters, and data analyzers.
- Must be able to climb high ladders, work on elevated platforms and antennas.
- Must be able to perform strenuous physical work to include walking, lifting, pulling loads, bending, kneeling, sitting and reaching overhead.
Desired Qualifications:
- Have one of the following DoD 8140.03 compliant certifications CompTIA Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC or SSCP.
- Experience working with LINUX is preferred.
- Experience interfacing w/ Military personnel and government customer.
Pay Range: $30.03-$35.53/hr
