Assistant Construction Manager
L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as an Assistant Construction Manager.-Provide field support during construction and design.-Ensure work complies with contract documents.-Complete all required contract documents.-Support the inspection and quality control/quality assurance furnishing and installing of all material and equipment during contract close-out.-Inspect construction projects, monitoring and coordinating multiple project activities.-Support project managers during construction and design.-Work with Resident Engineer to execute project goals.-Support Project Manager Consultant / Consultant Construction Manager.-Attend project coordination meetings with stakeholders, prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items.-Ensure all personnel comply with safety requirements of the contract.-Prepare reports regularly and in a timely manner, including, but not limited to: daily reports, quality and safety check lists, field condition survey reports, field sketches, scope of work for change orders, estimates, additional work order packages, and other reports as required by the Construction Manager/PCEO.-Prepare, submit, and coordinate necessary requests for railroad-supply services, such as flagging, access & protection, etc.-Supervise employees and manage project budget, schedules, and construction activities.
