Purchasing Agent

We are recruiting for an entry-level Purchasing Agent for our Miami-based team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our operations by conducting research, procuring supplies and services, analyzing purchasing trends, and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating vendors, comparing their products, prices, and services.
• Conducting market research to keep abreast of market trends and purchasing advancements.
• Negotiating pricing, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Issuing purchase orders and tracking them until the delivery of goods.
• Maintaining and updating a list of current and prospective vendors.
• Collaborating with the inventory team to maintain adequate stock levels and ensure that delivered items are accurate and in good condition.
• Reviewing purchasing agreements with vendors and maintaining open lines of communication with them.
• Preparing reports and maintaining records of product quality, delivery times, and price.
• Ability to analyze pricing data and make forecasts.
• Detailed understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing management software.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
