Job Summary

The first person our patient sees goes a long way in setting the tone for the rest of their experience while they're in our offices, which is why it's so important that our primary office administrator embodies the values and culture of the office.

Job Responsibilities
  • Good phone demeanor when calling patients back, Insurance verification, or when booking appointments.
  • Maintain patient traffic flow in the office to the treatment room.
  • Computer data entry by updating patient information, all appointments, and some notes are done with paper and pen.
  • maintaining current patient chart inputting and filing system. pull daily patient treatment charts and ask patient history questions once patient is in the room.
  • Meet and greet guests and walk-ins with a smile and friendly disposition, answering questions.
  • Take insurance information, co-payments, product payments and write receipt.
  • Help maintain the appearance of the office, the lobby, cleaning patient rooms and household cleaning, (wash and fold laundry, cleaning bathrooms). Water inside and outside plants.
  • Coordinate the doctor and the patient schedules: you will be the doctors right hand person.
  • 30 Hours/Week with Tuesday and weekends off. Hours needed are: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30am to 5:00pm and Thursdays 8:00am to 3:00pm. We are Flexible but 30 hrs/week is required by law to maintain your group insurance.
  • Group Health Insurance after 90 calendar days and we pay the entire monthly premium as an added benefit, a kickback on products sold, scrubs, and an additional attendance bonus when no additional sick days used at end of year.
  • you will accrue sick time from the first day of employment with 1 hour paid time off sick leave for every 30 hours worked, or rolled over into the next year.

Required

High school diploma or its equivalent

One year of experience as primary/main office assistant preferred but not required.
