The Opportunity

The evolution of Halo’s technology and equipment, growing from an R&D focus to a production manufacturing environment, has triggered the need for an experienced Technical Project Manager who can lead the development and deployment of the company’s material slicing production tooling.

You also have the opportunity to define and establish the Halo project management methodologies.

Role and Responsibilities:

Job Description
  • You are responsible for preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects from initiation through to closure.
  • You ensure overall quality control of the work, manage the project's triple constraints, and provide regular updates on project status.
  • You identify any bottlenecks and implement improvements, overseeing and advancing the risk management plan.
  • You define project deliverables for engineers, allocate tasks, and closely monitor progress.
  • You develop and implement a communication strategy with the project team to keep all stakeholders informed, address issues as they arise, and maintain alignment. Additionally, you work collaboratively and communicate effectively with program management and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • A Master's degree or higher in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Product Development, including at least 3 years as an individual contributor and 3 years in managing projects for complex engineering systems, preferably within the semiconductor sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful product delivery.
  • Experience leading teams comprising 5 to 10 engineers.
  • Proven ability to manage suppliers and contractors.
  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
