Our Baltimore-based client is seeking an experienced Workday Financial Consultant with a specialization in forensic accounting to address and rectify significant inaccuracies within their Workday financial systems. This consultant will play a critical role in reviewing, analyzing, and correcting financial data in Workday to stabilize the organization’s accounting, grants, allocations, budgets, and related financial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth forensic analysis of Workday financial records to identify discrepancies and root causes.
- Develop and implement corrective measures to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline financial workflows within Workday.
- Provide ongoing oversight and training to prevent future inaccuracies in accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and best practices.
- Manage financial reconciliation efforts across multiple departments.
- Offer strategic recommendations for long-term financial system stability and efficiency.
- Proven experience as a Workday Financial Consultant, with expertise in forensic accounting.
- Extensive knowledge of Workday Financial Management modules, including accounting, grants, allocations, and budgeting.
- Strong background in governmental or nonprofit accounting.
- Demonstrated success in remediating financial data inaccuracies within Workday.
- Ability to work remotely while managing complex financial reconciliation projects.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
