Accounting Clerk

Your responsibilities will also encompass the monitoring of customer accounts and taking necessary actions. This position presents a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy.
• Keep a record of customer credit information, ensuring it is up-to-date and precise.
• Resolve any inquiries or issues raised by customers in a timely manner.
• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take prompt action when needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks related to account management.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks effectively.
• Maintain cash drawers, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Uphold a high level of customer service in all interactions. • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
• Proven experience in providing excellent Customer Service
• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated ability to manage cash drawers
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
