Principal Prototype UI Developer

Overview:

BigBear.ai is looking for a Principal Prototype UI Developer to design, develop, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and document web services and user interfaces (UIs) for operation in a Kubernetes environment. The role also involves developing integrations and interfaces between the web services and other customer systems.

This position requires on-site work and candidates must report to the office daily (no remote flexibility).

What you will do:

• Design, develop, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and document web services and user interfaces (UIs) for operation in a Kubernetes environment
• Develop integrations and interfaces between web services and other customer systems
• Respond to customer inquiries and support the use of web services and user interfaces
• Design, develop, implement, test, deploy, and document software that extracts, transforms, and loads data into databases such as Elasticsearch
• Set up Continuous Deployment pipelines in GitLab to automatically build and deploy software
• Provide demonstrations as required
• Create Jira tickets to document tasks performed
• Serve as the team Scrum Master as needed

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS) or a related field, with at least 11 years of experience (or 6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree)
• Candidates must maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS, and Angular
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Neo4j
• Familiarity with Kubernetes

What we'd like you to have:

• Some knowledge of the GWT Framework
• Basic networking knowledge is also beneficial
