We are providing a long term contract employment opportunity in the finance industry at our Morristown, Tennessee location for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role primarily revolves around maintaining, processing invoices assisting in auditing accounts payable, reconciling accounts, and resolving vendor inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing and entry of invoices
• Regularly perform account reconciliation tasks
• Efficient utilization of Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Conduct thorough auditing of accounts payable
• Ensure the accuracy of account coding
• Regularly reconcile vendor statements
• Monitor accounts receivable (AR)
• Use accounting functions to maintain financial records
• Take appropriate action on customer accounts based on monitoring
• Effectively use ADP - Financial Services and Concur software systems for financial tasks.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions
• Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Auditing skills are necessary
• Proficiency in using SAP
• Ability to perform Account Reconciliation
• Experience in Coding Invoices
• Skills to accurately Enter Invoices
• Ability to Reconcile Vendor Statements
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is a plus
