Position Overview
The Research & Teaching Assistant Intern will work directly with the founder of Voice Up to support the implementation and management of an innovative digital learning platform designed to transform how we support mental health across multiple cultures and communities.This platform empowers college student leaders to pursue meaningful social impact projects aligned with their personal causes and interests.

Position Details- **Type:** Remote (100% virtual)
- **Schedule:** Flexible hours
- **Duration:** One academic semester
- **Compensation:** Academic credit available or volunteer basis
- **Recognition:** Letter of support from the founder upon completion
Key Responsibilities
**Research & Analysis**- Conduct ongoing research on current events at local, national, and global levels
- Analyze innovative educational approaches that connect individuals with their purpose
- Create briefings and summaries of relevant trends and developments
- Identify opportunities to integrate current events into student projects
- Research best practices in purpose-driven education and leadership development
- Document case studies of successful purpose-alignment initiatives
- Track and monitor progress of student leaders' social impact projects
- Ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines
- Maintain regular communication with student participants
- Document project outcomes and student achievements
- Provide support and resources to help students overcome challenges
- Assist in organizing and hosting virtual team meetings
- Support the creation of meeting agendas and materials
- Facilitate peer-to-peer learning and idea sharing sessions
- Take detailed notes and distribute meeting summaries
- Follow up on action items and commitments
- Support the rollout of the digital learning platform
- Help create and organize educational content
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues
- Gather feedback for platform improvements
- Document best practices and learning outcomes
- Current college student or recent graduate
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with virtual collaboration tools
- Demonstrated interest in social impact and education
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Previous experience in peer mentoring or teaching
- Project management experience
- Experience in research methodology and data analysis
- Knowledge of global affairs and current events
- Background in educational psychology or purpose-driven learning
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms
- Background in social impact or nonprofit work
- Experience facilitating group discussions
- Gain hands-on experience in educational technology and social impact
- Develop project management and leadership skills
