The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis.

SSAG has an immediate need for a Program Analyst for SSAG’s DOE team. #CJ

Responsibilities:

The candidate will support the analysis and management of DOE enterprise risks, schedules, and priorities. The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating within a team to deliver enterprise risk and schedule analysis.
  • Gathering information from various sources and conducting analysis of that information to inform program decisions and establish priorities.
  • Presenting results to peers and senior leadership within client and partner organizations.

The Program Analyst will spend the majority of their time at SPA HQ in Alexandria. Travel to DOE sites throughout the country will be required.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • At least three years’ experience with Department of Energy Environmental Management program planning, strategic planning, or risk assessment/tracking.
  • Capable of working independently as well as with a team on larger projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Department of Energy or Department of Defense program planning, strategic planning, or risk assessment/tracking.
  • Previous Experience with any of the following: environmental management, risk analysis, schedule analysis, the DOE, the National Nuclear Security Administration.
  • Familiarity with Primavera, R, @Risk, DOORS.
  • Current DOE Q clearance, DoD SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance.
