We are providing an exciting opportunity in the IT industry based in New York. We are seeking an IT Support Analyst to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace. The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for a broad range of tasks including processing end-user requests, providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately answering, evaluating, and prioritizing incoming requests for assistance from end users via telephone, voicemail, email, in-person, and service desk system.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to standard enterprise software applications, custom web applications, desktop hardware, and network edge infrastructure components.
  • Assisting with the technical support for the organization, diagnosing technical problems, researching, identifying and documenting appropriate solutions.
  • Providing support for LAN and WIFI devices, analyzing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and resolving computer network problems.
  • Performing file backups on the network and participating in scheduled maintenance windows.
  • Tracking all support issues and calls within the Support management system, maintaining contact and following up with employees to ensure quality level of support.
  • Creating, maintaining, and coordinating user account information and passwords for various IT systems.
  • Assisting with the setup of new user accounts/email in a Microsoft Windows Active Directory/Office 365 environment.
  • Providing support and assistance for the relocation, installation, and setup of computers, end-user unified communications systems, mobile devices and various peripheral equipment.
  • Coordinating with various vendors to maintain a working environment. • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT support role or similar.
  • Proficient in Office 365, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Windows and Mac OS.
  • Experience in Audio Visual, with the ability to set up, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment.
  • Proven track record in Application Support, with the ability to provide effective solutions for user issues.
  • Hands-on experience with deployments, including planning, scheduling, and executing software installations.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT matters in understandable terms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently when required.
