Responsibilities- Tends machine which transfers design or finish on cloth by means of heat and pressure from belt and rollers.
- Adjusts automatic device that regulates heat for proper processing of individual order being run.
- Mounts roll of fabric onto machine feed brackets and threads fabric between rollers lapping end of fabric onto take-up tube.
- Engages machine and monitors controls so as to adjust speed, pressure of rollers and tension of fabric to ensure efficient operation of equipment and quality standards.
- Observes material as it passes through machine to prevent seams, rolled selvages of trash from damaging rollers or belts.
