Job Description
  • Lead a team of technicians in executing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance schedules.
  • Minimize disruption to production processes by ensuring smooth maintenance operations.
  • Oversee maintenance planning, CMMS coordination, and shift leadership to align repairs with internal teams and external providers.
  • Drive facility upgrades, new equipment installation, and process improvements, including ROI justifications.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create and review technical drawings and schematics.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and third-party service providers to optimize costs and service quality.
  • Oversee integration and optimization of CMMS for maintenance scheduling, asset tracking, and inventory management.
  • Conduct CMMS training and serve as the super user for the organization.
  • Maintain databases of parts, equipment, and work orders, ensuring compliance with industry standards (GMP, HACCP, SQF).
  • Monitor OEM work, ensuring implementation of recommended improvements.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, process purchase orders, and ensure availability of critical parts.

The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in food manufacturing operations, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Lean Manufacturing, and CMMS systems.
  • Experience working with processing, packaging, refrigeration, and utility systems.
  • Understanding of PLC troubleshooting, automation, and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while managing multiple projects.
