Electrical Maintenance Mechanic
We are seeking an Electrical Mainteance Mechanic on the Eastern part of Suffolk County. We need soneone who has worked on electrical mainteance machines and has done routine mainteance procedures and repairs. Responsibilities- Electrical System Maintenance:
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, control systems, motors, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure efficient operation and to reduce downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions in equipment and machinery.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit boards, and electrical components, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
- Equipment Installation:
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment, systems, or machinery.
- Ensure all installations meet technical specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when performing electrical maintenance tasks.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures to ensure the safety of personnel when working on electrical systems.
- Monitoring and Testing:
- Monitor electrical equipment for proper functioning, identifying any potential issues.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, to test and analyze electrical systems.
