Job Description
  • Oversee all aspects of commercial construction project management
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule
  • Review the project schedule with senior management and other staff
  • Manage project budget, including subcontractor contracts and change orders
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Provide project updates to stakeholders through formal and informal communication

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Commercial Construction should have:

  • A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
  • Proven working experience in construction management
  • Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
  • Expertise in project management software tools, applications and MS Office
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process
  • Ability to plan and see the "big picture"
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Excellent time and project management skills
