Overview:

ITOCHU Building Products (IBP) Holdings has an immediate need for an experienced IT Project Coordinator to join its team.

The IT Project Coordinator will be an integral part of our IT shared services team, overseeing the rollout of our WMS software and accompanying processes to locations throughout the United States and Canada. The role will partner with both our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support team and our broader Sales & Operations team.

As a part of the project launch and on-going support, frequent travel is expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with IT/Infrastructure teams and external partners to drive the proper and on-time sourcing of any needed site surveys, hardware and equipment
  • Become a functional expert on our Infor Factory Track WMS application, working closely with our ERP support team and operations team
  • Develop, manage and execute project plans in support of new WMS implementations for company locations, coordinating as needed with peers in cross-functional teams
  • Provide project estimates, testing, and presentations
  • Monitor system testing
  • Provide support during go-live
  • Provide post-go-live support, handing off long term support to the current team of business analysts
  • Mentor project teammates, to include reviewing consulting, writing, speaking, presentation, and training skills

Qualifications:

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Strong network skills (routing/switching)
  • Strong operational process focus
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Willingness and flexibility to adjust to alternate work hours as occasionally required to support locations in different time zones across the United States and Canada
  • Willingness and ability to travel to different facilities in support of rollouts and/or general team development
Work Environment: Mix of office environment and warehouse setting (remote candidate is okay, but travel is expected)
Physical Demands: This job requires the ability to sit, climb, stand, lift and/or move.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday; at times more than 8 hours.

Travel: Up to 50% as needed.
