Sr Maintenance Technician (Ensure reliability of machinery and equipment through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to select and operate appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.
• strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate issues and solutions effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble manufacturing equipment.
• strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under limited supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Ensure reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders.
• Use hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts.
• Assemble, install, adjust, and calibrate mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment.
• Dismantle, repair, rebuild, and replace equipment and parts as needed.
• Adhere to all plant safety policies and participate in plant-wide safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing programs.
• Provide assistance and guidance to junior maintenance colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
