Job Description

You will report directly into the company Vice President and be responsible for:

• Supervise and lead a team of 20 technicians in daily production and quality operations.
• Ensure all products meet high-quality standards through rigorous quality control measures.
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer deadlines and efficiency goals.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Maintain equipment and oversee preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety protocols and create a safe working environment for all team members.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales departments to align production with customer specifications.
• Monitor and evaluate technician performance, providing coaching and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare reports on production metrics, performance, and improvement initiatives for upper management

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate will have:

• At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with several years of management experience
• Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, ideally with a focus on precision components and managing production teams.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, production processes, and lean manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency in manufacturing software and tools, along with strong analytical skills to track performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving on the production floor, actively engaging with technicians to drive efficiency and address challenges in real time.
