Position: Proposal InternExpected Hours: Expected 25-30 hours per week with possibility of 8 hours / week in the fall
Duration: Summer Semester 2025. Start Date: June 15, for a minimum of 10 weeks. Option to extend to Fall 2025.
Location: RemoteRequirements: Finance or Marketing major, Excel certification

Team Responsibilities:The Riverbed Proposal Team sits at the intersection of Sales, Legal, and Finance and supports our Sales Teams by creating commercially viable transactions through deal structuring, pricing, competitive benchmarking, channel engagement, and contract negotiations.
What you will do:
- Provide additional support with the volume of incoming sales proposal requests and customer questionnaires.
- Interact with key sales leaders and internal Subject matter experts to ensure accurate and timely responses.
- Assist and augment the current team in coordinating Request for Proposal (RFP) responses & customer questionnaires.
- Gain experience in content library / new proposal automation software.
- Assist Deals Desk team in creating competitive pricing offers for our clients.
What makes you an ideal candidate:
- Pursuing BS Finance or BS Marketing, rising junior or senior
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel skills is a must/ Certification is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data driven approach
- Prior sales background
- Self-starter and ability to work independently in a remote work setting.
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
