Finance Manager - Finance Operations Business Partnership, Kuiper Government Solutions

As a business partner, you will work daily alongside Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Service Centers, Vendors, Kuiper Sales, Finance, Legal, Logistics, and other operational groups at all levels in a global environment. Complex problem solving and financial analysis skills are required to manage multiple high visibility priorities in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations.

• Define key performance indicators – develop operational and business metrics and service level agreements for programs and processes, and track delivery against global objectives.
• Consolidate inputs, and challenge assumptions, on performance drivers and projections from stakeholders
• Develop and maintain effective partnership between Finance Operations, Service Centers and Kuiper Business & Finance.
• Identify and drive opportunities for improved cash flow, margin or productivity improvements related to vendor payments and receivables.
• Solve critical vendor, process and system escalations effectively to ensure root cause analysis and effective problem resolution.
• Identify and quantify financial and operational risks and opportunities
• Support operational escalations effectively to ensure root cause analysis and effective problem resolution.

• 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
• 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
• Security Clearance: Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI, so you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
• Direct experience in Government contracting to include working with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
• Ability to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations F(AR) and internal estimating requirements (specifically FAR 15.408, Table 15-2), Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS), and United States Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
• Security Clearance: While not required, it is preferred candidates have an active US Government security clearance of TS/SCI (with polygraph preferred) and be able to maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
