Senior Peoplesoft Developer
Description:
CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Peoplesoft Developer position for our client in New York, NY.
Location: New York, NY (hybrid remote)Duration: 12 months
Duties:
- Perform technical oversight and assessment of application and system development projects to ensure cybersecurity, technical integrity, and compliance with design requirements.
- Conduct appropriate technical reviews and prepare formal evaluations of all key deliverables and work products associated with the design, coding, and build of the application or software configuration, including application architecture, technical specifications, application coding, unit testing, and integration testing. Ensure the application is secure from malicious attacks.
- Work closely with the Technical Lead to create the development project plan, distribute work packages to the development team members, manage and review work products, create design documents for new customizations related to new releases, and coordinate with various teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills:
- Strong ability to develop security policies, conduct risk assessments, and perform vulnerability testing.
- Experience in installing and managing sophisticated security software, identifying vulnerabilities in digital systems, and creating protocols to protect companies, consumers, and information from cyber threats.
- Proficiency in implementing and testing new security features, planning computer and network upgrades, troubleshooting, and responding to security incidents.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Technical aptitude in troubleshooting, maintaining, and updating information security systems; implementing continuous network monitoring and providing real-time security solutions.
- Ability to work with a variety of operating systems, computer systems, mobile devices, cloud networks, and wireless networks while staying updated on industry advancements.
- High level of vigilance and attention to detail to effectively detect vulnerabilities and risks.
- Commitment to staying current with best practices and emerging industry trends through continuous learning and self-education.
- Strong understanding of hacker techniques to anticipate and counteract potential security breaches effectively.
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in developing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and performing vulnerability testing.
- Hands-on experience in cybersecurity-related development projects and software security implementations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a Technical/Business Discipline is required.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
