IX at $4.5 billion in capital commitments.
Job Description – DataEngineer (Data & Analytics)
Mission of the Role: Apex is looking for a Data Engineer who is passionate about helping build a world-class data and
analytics organization. This individual would be responsible for (i) managing existing datapipelines, (ii) designing and developing new data integrations, (iii) increasing the analytics posture
of our data infrastructure, and (iv) being a thought partner on long-term strategic planning and
data-driven growth initiatives with department leaders and other senior leaders within Apex.
This role is highly analytical, strategic, and data-oriented and is suited for someone who excels in a
fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to technical and analytical capabilities, with a high level of emotional intelligence, to help grow the Company.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize data engineering solutions to support the analytics and
reporting needs of the organization.
Build scalable and efficient data architectures using Lake house and Snowflakeplatforms.
Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure Services.
Provide expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecturediscussions.
Build process documentation for data pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizationalgoals.
Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or relevant
field. 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
Strong experience in designing, building and operating robust data platforms (e.g., Spark)
SQL Expertise.
Strong knowledge of Python & Spark
Experienced with ingesting data from REST APIs.
Expertise in data modeling, warehousing, ELT/ETL development (e.g., DBT) and workingwith relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, RedShift).
Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles.
Experience with Snowflake & DBT is a plus.
Experience with AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics is a plus.
