User Experience Designer
Key Job Responsibilities
-Define the design (experience) strategy leading and facilitating working sessions with stakeholders and business partners, utilizing the Discovery Canvas Approach, to unpack and highlight the problem statement that seeks to identify the Opportunity, Response, Impact, Outcome-Auditing the landscape competitively and comparatively for inspiration, design trends, as well as insights that can be referenced throughout the design process-Lead the holistic, end-to-end, Human Centered Design efforts for the team, ensuring the successful delivery of a best-in-class, customer centric outcome-Create the required artifacts as they relate to all aspects of experience design and experience architecture for both native and mobile web environments.
Always ensuring each can be easily translated and applied by your development and technology partners-Produce and or oversee the production of all visual design assets and components aligned with Prudential's Design System and Playbook-Prototype quickly and accurately the interactive design as a customer would experience the product or service showcasing to the team performance and behavior of the layout and user interface (lo-fi & hi-fi)-Conduct user research and user testing utilizing methods such as remote usability testing, A/B testing, 1:1 interviews, rapid contextual inquiries etc...-Coordinate and peer review with other designers to ensure consistency and quality of design reflects and acknowledges the patterns of the industry as well as those from our Design System and Playbook-Competencies- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities-3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design-Proficient with visual design programs-Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces for clients-Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages-Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies-Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with customers and clients-Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently-Account for challenges using problem-solving skills and seek to optimize data for the best possible outcome-Experience creating storyboards and website mapping-Strong project management and organization skills.
- Experience supporting and working with agile cross functional teams in a dynamic environment Background in financial services functions strongly desirable.
