About Our Client

Our client is an industry leading general contractor in the Georgia construction market, dedicated to bringing the highest level of service to their loyal clientele throughout the Southeast region. Since their conception almost 30 years ago, they have focused on a variety of commercial construction projects within the public sector including, higher education, municipal, and federal.

They have a full pipeline of projects within these sectors into 2025 and strategically expanding their team of around 50 professionals to accommodate for long term growth plans.

Job Description

This project manager will be responsible for leading their own project under the direction of the Senior Project Manager with the opportunity to mentor assistants and be trained for a senior level role in the future. Main responsibilities include:

  • Run/manage project from start to finish
  • Oversee Subcontractors and full construction project on a daily bases
  • Coordinate subcontractors, architects, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve any problems with materials or methods.
  • Establish and maintain an effective and professional on site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.
  • Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for this role should have 2-4 years experience in a project manager role for a general contractor, possessing the following credentials:

  • Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Successful history of leading a project from start to finish including site work and utilities
  • Experience engaging with municipalities (preferred)
  • Proficient in relevant construction software including Procore and Excel
