Clinical Assistant (MA/CNA/Surgical Tech) New Bern

As a **Clinical Assistant** you will assist a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner in providing comprehensive patient care within clinical and surgical settings with a professional attitude of compassion and respect for patient dignity.

• Document patient complaints and medical history in EMA.
• Prepare patient for exams, procedures, and surgery.
• Provide patient education and instruction.
• Assist physicians with surgical procedures/MOHS surgeries.
• Responsible for stocking and cleanliness of various specialty areas, exam rooms, provider stations, and medical supply areas.
• Assist with instrument sterilization and autoclave routine maintenance.
• Participate in training of other clinic staff as needed.

• Surgical Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant experience
• Knowledge of and compliance with HIPPA standards
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely

• Requires prolonged standing and walking
• Requires bending, stooping, stretching, and lifting

**Expected hours**: 36 - 40 per week
