Job Description- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on wire harness products and applications.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of wire harness designs, components, materials, and industry standards.
- Provide technical support to internal teams (sales, engineering, production) and customers regarding wire harnesses.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to support the development and refinement of wire harness products.
- Assist in creating and reviewing design specifications, product documentation, and technical drawings.
- Ensure that product designs meet customer specifications and industry standards (e.g., UL, SAE, RoHS).
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs and provide technical guidance on wire harness solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any product-related issues or concerns, coordinating with other teams as necessary.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical training to customers, distributors, or internal teams.
- Ensure the successful transition of product designs to the manufacturing floor.
- Support the quality control team in monitoring product quality, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Work with manufacturing teams to resolve production issues and optimize the assembly process.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the wire harness sector.
- Provide insights and recommendations for new product development or enhancements to existing products.
- Support the creation of marketing materials and product documentation.
- Provide technical training and support to the sales team to ensure they have the necessary product knowledge.
- Assist the sales team in responding to customer inquiries, creating product proposals, and generating sales leads.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in wire harness product development, engineering, or technical support.
- Experience with electrical components, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of wire harness design principles and standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA, SAE, UL).
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for reviewing and assisting in design documentation.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards related to wire harness products.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and sales.
- Ability to travel as needed to support customers or internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with automotive, aerospace, or industrial wire harness applications.
- Certification or training in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) or project management.
