• The client is a well-established construction firm with a strong legacy.
• Specializing in a wide range of construction services, they offer expertise in preconstruction, general contracting, construction management, masonry, and concrete restoration.
• Headquartered in Chicago, their portfolio spans complex construction projects, multi-phased renovations, and sensitive historic restorations across multiple industries.

• Coordinate with the project team and manage payables, including subcontract, purchase agreements, and change orders.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables and project payout information from various parties (e.g., Title Company, Owner, Architect).
• Prepare and review project progress invoices, including lump sum, Gmax, and time-and-material billings.
• Distribute complete billing packages including invoices, sworn statements, and lien waivers.
• Process subcontractor and supplier invoices, ensuring proper accruals to cost reports and phase codes.
• Post final approved billings and track insurance costs for inclusion in monthly billings.
• Manage client and subcontractor communications professionally and expediently.
• Oversee project accounting across multiple projects and handle various project-specific accounting duties.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with a preference for construction industry experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction/accounting software applications; CMiC experience preferred.
• Highly detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
