The Quality Technician/CMM Programmer is responsible for overseeing aspects of quality assurance and control within the organization. This role requires a great understanding of quality systems, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methodologies.

salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

Select measuring methods and develop inspection plans for high complexity CNC and progressive die stamped parts.
Develop and validate CMM programs in accordance with internal and external customer quality requirements.
Support MSA activity, Gage R&R Studies, Process Risk Studies (FMEA), Process Capability Studies (SPC).
Provide information to production cell for process monitoring controls and machine adjustment.
Perform lot acceptance activity including over-check of product, creation of certificate packages, and verification of supplier material and processes.
Perform layout inspections for first piece and first article activity.
Support root cause corrective action activity to address customer complaints.
