The Quality Technician/CMM Programmer is responsible for overseeing aspects of quality assurance and control within the organization. This role requires a great understanding of quality systems, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methodologies.

salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
  • Select measuring methods and develop inspection plans for high complexity CNC and progressive die stamped parts.
  • Develop and validate CMM programs in accordance with internal and external customer quality requirements.
  • Support MSA activity, Gage R&R Studies, Process Risk Studies (FMEA), Process Capability Studies (SPC).
  • Provide information to production cell for process monitoring controls and machine adjustment.
  • Perform lot acceptance activity including over-check of product, creation of certificate packages, and verification of supplier material and processes.
  • Perform layout inspections for first piece and first article activity.
  • Support root cause corrective action activity to address customer complaints.
