Additionally, the role involves oversight of customer accounts and undertaking appropriate action when necessary.

• Ensuring secure packaging of products using appropriate materials such as boxes, bubble wrap, or shrink wrap to prevent potential damage during transportation
• Accurate labeling of packages with shipping information, barcodes, and other pertinent details
• Organizing packaged products to facilitate easy shipment, often involving stacking or placing them in the correct area
• Assisting in inventory control by counting and cross-checking items to ensure everything is accounted for
• Inspecting items for potential defects or damages before packaging them
• Efficiently processing customer credit applications
• Maintaining accurate records of customer credit
• Resolving customer inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when required
• Utilizing various computer programs and ERP Solutions, including IBM AS/400 and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, for effective warehouse inventory management.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a logistics role within the High Tech - Electronics industry
• Proficiency in using computer programs is required
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary
• Experience with ERP Solutions is a must
• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 is desirable
• Prior use of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is preferred
• Experience with About Time software is beneficial
• Ability to handle answering inbound calls efficiently
• Experience with billing functions is required
• Excellent communication skills are a must
• Exceptional customer service skills are necessary
• Experience with warehouse inventory management is preferred
• Familiarity with packing slip procedures is needed
• Knowledge of packaging materials used in the High Tech - Electronics industry is beneficial.
