Accounts Payable Specialist

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This role is centered on the management of full cycle accounts payable, data entry, and 3-way match tasks within the machine fabrication industry. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full cycle accounts payable procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform 3-way match tasks to verify invoices for payments.
• Execute data entry tasks for maintaining up-to-date and accurate financial records.
• Utilize accounting software systems for processing and recording transactions.
• Implement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for managing and integrating the important parts of the business.
• Carry out various accounting functions to support the finance department.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) to control company expenses.
• Apply accrual accounting methods for recording revenues and expenses.
• Conduct auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. • Must possess proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Demonstrable knowledge of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) essential
• Familiarity with Accrual Accounting principles
• Prior experience in Auditing is a plus
