Robert Half has partnered with a growing company on their search for a Tax Manager with broad tax exposure. The Tax Manager will be responsible for preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions, creating and implementing strategic tax planning, preparing and filing accurate and timely tax returns, assisting with merger and acquisition projects, identifying opportunities for tax savings, staying abreast of legislative and regulatory tax laws, reviewing tax projections, preparing tax-related financial disclosures, and conducting research on complex tax issues and providing guidance to management on tax implications.
To be successful in this role, the Tax Manager must have in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
What you get to do everyday- Timely preparing and filing of all tax returns
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly projections
- Develop tax strategies
- Assist with international tax and transfer pricing
- Implement best practices and improvements
- Coordinate tax audits
- Manage and mentor members of tax team
- Review staff tax transactions
- Oversee special tax related projects
The ideal Tax Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
Other requirements for the Tax Manager role include and are not limited to:
- 7+ years experience
- CPA/EA
- Will manage a team of 5
- Proficient in accounting software
