Responsibilities:
Your Role:
As a Research, Development, and Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust production technology and providing leadership and direction to engineering responsible for installation of machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operations.We embrace and accept individual experiences and backgrounds to achieve a diverse and inclusive workplace.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Plan, organize, and direct the engineering functions to meet design requirements of customer orders and improvements of existing product lines.
- Responsible for start-up/commercialization of new processes within the food bag value stream.
- Review all technical content and ancillary services for assigned product lines.
- Support manufacturing processes through effective and accurate product design.
- Assist with planning and cost estimates for annual and longer-term capital budgets.
In this role, you will ensure capabilities, consistency and compliance in application and use of engineering methods, production systems/procedures, standards, and plantwide continuous improvement activities. Qualifications:
We need you to have:
- BA/BS degree in Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of related professional and progressive manufacturing experience.
- Prior technical team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching, and mentoring a diverse workforce.
- Ability to travel 25%.
- Demonstrated hands-on project management showing leadership ability to drive projects from start to end.
Icing on the cake:
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Knowledge of bag conversion processes.
- Polymer blown film extrusion experience.

Role is eligible for 10% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
Posted Salary Range: USD $115,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /A
