[ref. s3152722] Sr. Supply & Demand Planning Manager
REPORTS TO: Operations Director
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly effective, data driven, results oriented Sr. Supply & Demand Planning Manager to provide a broad range of supply chain analysis needs and create/improve planning and process tools needed in Inventory Management, Production Planning, Demand Planning Forecasting and Logistics.The position will be working closely with stakeholders across the organization to optimize inventory, identify and analyze cost reduction opportunities and will work closely with the Operations Director and the SVP of Operations to deliver short and long-term cost savings opportunities for the organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership to the S&OP process and work to balance capacity with demand forecasting. Work directly with sales to continuously reduce the mean absolute percent error (MAPE) in the demand forecast in order to improve short- and long-term production planning to the SKU level.
- Ensure coordination with Planners to execute the Production Plan on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Work closely with operations team members to improve planning tools and reduce /eliminate redundant reports/tools that are no longer adding value.
- Develop and manage the finished goods re-order point (ROP) and replenishment process across multiple DC’s to ensure >=97% service levels with minimal obsolescence and discounted sales.
- Prepare, analyze, and present operational KPIs. Develop Operations KPI Dashboards for the Executive Team.
- Lead / become super user into our inventory management system coming implementation
- Turn data into management information and provide this to the leadership team on supply chain performance along with recommendations for corrective/remedial action plans to anticipate risks and enable decision-making

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Operations or Supply Chain, or equivalent applicable work experience
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in operations/supply chain analytical work as a Supply Chain senior analyst/manager
- Experience with demand planning and forecasting preferred into a multiple DC's environment
- High level skills in Excel and data analysis (e.g., ALL IFS, INDEX MATCH, SUM PRODUCT, PIVOTS, SLICERS, QUERY, DATA VALIDATION, etc.) to improve costs, analyze capacity, analyze demand, optimize logistics, and/or drive CI initiatives
- Supply chain experience in a startup food company a plus
- Ability to thrive in a challenging and fast paced entrepreneurial environment and develop it into a more sophisticated and scalable platform
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, ability to make decisions, solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
- Proven track record of initiative, follow-through and results
- Data driven approach to analyzing the entire scope of the supply chain to deliver continuous improvement (CI) solutions to reduce COGS and optimize inventory
- Experience mining for and extracting data from Quick Books a plus
- Strong communication skills to be able to present findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise and compelling manner
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic, new and growing Good Culture team and work directly with Co-Mans to get needed information for analytical work
- Travel - 10-20% (primarily upper Midwest)
