Assistant Quality Manager
The Assistant Quality Manager is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in improving all internal and external plant assurance of quality systems. This is a dual-role, responsible for both the Brockway and Crenshaw plant locations.
The Assistant Quality Manager will:
- Work directly with all departments on quality issues and preventative and corrective actions.
- Facilitate problem-solving activity through TQM, team building, and quality systems tools and methods.
- Work with supervisors in identifying negative quality trends and repetitive defects.
- Participate as a customer liaison, make customer visits as appropriate, and assist in implementing customer quality management systems.
- Help develop and maintain the Quality Management System.
The Assistant Quality Manager should have:
- Ability to investigate customer complaints, prepare customer complaint responses, and maintain a customer database.
- Experience working with the plant management team to develop standard operating procedures.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with ability to work independently to come up with solutions.
- On-call availability to support 24/7 operations and weekend rotations.
- Bachelor’s degree (engineering or related technical field) or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and data analytics skills
- Demonstrated project management skills preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including experience using Excel and SAP

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $95,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
