We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Sarasota, Florida. This role is situated within a company that operates in multiple locations and requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle a high volume of Accounts Payable tasks.

The position entails an on-site work schedule from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process various accounts payable, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Review and approve employee expense reports, adhering to the company's policies and guidelines.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to manage and organize data efficiently.
  • Regularly monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date record of all customer credit applications.
  • Handle administrative tasks, providing support to the team as needed.
  • Ensure all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to the evolving needs of the Accounts Payable role.
  • Foster a positive work environment, contributing to team cohesion and productivity. • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required
  • Experience with managing and processing Expense Reports
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree will be a plus
