Our client, an international manufacturer, distributor & dealer of construction equipment is looking to hire a Controller to manage their New England business. The controller will report directly to the Corporate CFO who is located overseas. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands on monthly close experience including cost accounting and inventory management.

A proven track record of helping to develop and advance junior staff is necessary for this position.

An Accounting Degree is required and some experience within the manufacturing or dealership industries is desired.

This role will be Hybrid between office and home.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a controller role or a similar position
Proficiency in Monthly Account Reconciliation
Demonstrated ability in managing Monthly Balance Sheets
Experience in Monthly Budget preparation and management
Skilled in Monthly Close Processes and Monthly Close
Proven expertise in Inventory Analysis, Asset Inventory, and Inventory Tracking
Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Ability to perform Ad Hoc Reporting
Strong skills in Financial Reporting
Experience in Inventory Planning & Reporting is a must
