Overview:

Coastal Waste & Recycling is a locally owned and operated waste management and recycling company. We are experiencing explosive growth and with growth comes opportunity!

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• Ability to work under limited supervision
• Oversee the shop by performing purchases, inventory management, accurate billing, and coding
• Maintain accurate perpetual inventory and parts room
• Processing of invoices ensuring correct billing is applied
• Complete required paperwork associated with inventory and supplies
• Perform all work in accordance with established Company Safety Procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA Standards.

Supervisory responsibilities:

• N/A

Work Environment and Hours:

• Maintenance shop
• 40 + hours a week
• Shifts may vary Monday – Saturday

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift and move 50 to 75 pounds.
• Extended periods of standing
• Extended periods of walking

Travel Required:

• Periodically for training or when necessary

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in auto or truck parts
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Knowledge of applicable DOT regulations, OSHA compliance, and company regulations
